Dong Nai provides 45 billion VND to support the construction of Marquis Nguyen Huu Canh Temple

The working delegation included Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, along with leaders of departments, boards, and agencies of Dong Nai Province.

Receiving the delegation on the Quang Tri side were Le Ngoc Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Dang Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; and leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

Speaking at the working session, Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang sincerely thanked the Dong Nai Party Committee, government, and people for their special support for Quang Tri Province, particularly for providing financial assistance for the construction of Marquis Nguyen Huu Canh Temple. Nguyen Huu Canh, who contributed to the expansion of the southern territories, including present-day Dong Nai Province and Ho Chi Minh City, is revered by the people and the temple is being built in his honor.

Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang also congratulated Dong Nai Province on its achievements in recent years across various fields, particularly in attracting investment and implementing key projects in the area, including Long Thanh Airport. He also expressed his hope that Dong Nai will achieve even greater success in the 2025–2030 term.

Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van expressed his deep emotion while visiting and paying tribute to the heroic martyrs at the “red addresses” across Quang Tri Province, and also expressed his delight at Quang Tri’s development in recent years. Emerging from the hardships of war, with the unity and efforts of the Party Committee, government, and people, Quang Tri has gradually developed and achieved many notable results, as seen today. He also expressed his confidence that, with the hands, minds, unity, and efforts of all social classes and the leadership of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Quang Tri will achieve even greater success in the future.

At the meeting, the leaders of Dong Nai and Quang Tri provinces provided more information about the experiences in Party building and socio-economic development of the two localities in the past and future orientations.

On this occasion, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee supported 45 billion VND to build the Temple of Marquis Nguyen Huu Canh to honor his contribution to the country's southward expansion.
