On the morning of September 4, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, officially launched the 19th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2025) along with the “International Supply Chain Connection” event (Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 or VIS 2025) and the 2025 Export Forum.

The opening ceremony was attended by former Politburo Member and former State President Nguyen Minh Triet; former State Vice Presidents Truong My Hoa and Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang; Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, as well as leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities across the country.

This marks the first time that three major events on tourism, supply chains, and export forums, are held simultaneously to create a strong impact on trade, investment, and tourism promotion. Among them, ITE HCMC 2025, under the theme: “Sustainable Tourism - Vibrant Experiences,” has attracted over 500 enterprises and 250 international buyers from 41 participating countries and territories. The event is expected to welcome tens of thousands of visitors. As for VIS 2025, the event features more than 450 purchasing delegations from 60 countries and 400 domestic enterprises showcasing over 12,000 products, openning up broad opportunities for supply-demand connection.

Participating in the booth showcasing tourism products and specialties at ITE HCMC 2025, Dong Nai introduces famous destinations in the province, offers digital travel experiences, and allows visitors to sample local specialties such as pomelo wine, fermented dragon fruit juice, and cashew nut candy. The booth attracts both domestic and international visitors.
ITE HCMC 2025 runs for three days, from September 4 to 6.
