Dong Nai allocates 345 billion VND to present gifts for the Independence Day holiday

Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Regional Branch 2, Nguyen Duc Lenh, said that as of early afternoon on September 1, the branch had disbursed 345 billion VND in 500,000 and 100,000 VND notes, appropriately structured for allocation to credit institutions across Dong Nai Province. The funds are designated for the distribution of the government's Independence Day gifts to communes and wards throughout the province

The government's distribution of Independence Day gifts holds profound significance for citizens. In addition to fulfilling their duty to distribute gifts on behalf of the Government, several credit institutions have taken the opportunity to promote cashless payments through innovative and thoughtful initiatives. These include providing smartphones to low-income households, offering gifts and incentives for account openings, and integrating services with the digital identification application (VNeID) to facilitate social welfare payments.

Nguyen Duc Lenh emphasized that the initiative holds significant importance in promoting public adoption of government services through the national digital ID app, VNeID. It also plays a key role in supporting the effective implementation of administrative management under the two-tier local government model.
