In just about two weeks, the first Dong Nai provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term will officially open, marking an important milestone in Dong Nai’s development process.

Toward this significant political event, across localities in the province, numerous cultural, artistic, and sports activities have been, are being, and will be held vibrantly, creating a lively atmosphere among officials, Party members, and people from all walks of life.
Spreading the festive spirit in celebration of the Party Congress
Since early September 2025, Dong Nai Art Theater has continuously organized music and dance programs with themes such as Magnificent Milestone and Melodies of My Homeland, featuring dozens of performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and the love for the homeland, country, people, and the land of Dong Nai. In addition, the theater has staged both live and online cai luong (modern Southern Vietnamese folk opera) performances, such as Revitalizing the Nation and The Spirit of Hoan Chau, serving audiences inside and outside the province.
Deputy Director of Dong Nai Art Theater Nguyen Viet Bac said: Alongside music and cai luong performances, the theater is currently rehearsing a special Art Program to welcome the first Dong Nai provincial Party Congress, term 2025–2030. This special program is meticulously staged by the theater’s artists and actors, serving both political communication and the artistic needs of the public. Through this, it contributes to spreading excitement, strengthening trust in the Party’s leadership, and affirming the distinctive cultural identity of Dong Nai in the period of integration and development.
Meanwhile, Dong Nai Library and Dong Nai Museum (located in Binh Phuoc Ward and Tan Trieu Ward) continue to showcase books and historical documents on the provincial Party Committee through different periods, serving readers from Tuesday to Saturday, and serving residents and visitors at museum exhibitions from Monday to Sunday. Notably, the Binh Phuoc 3D Cultural Space is providing online access to Dong Nai’s culture and history through the link: https://baotang3d.binhphuoc.gov.vn. The management boards of historical sites and scenic locations across the province are implementing renovations and decoration with flags and panels, creating a solemn atmosphere and spreading joy in celebration of this major political event of both the province and the nation.
To promote the Party congresses at all levels, the first Dong Nai provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress, Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center is focusing on mobile propaganda activities, visual promotion, and grassroots film screenings.
Director of Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center Ton Thi Thanh Tinh said: The center now keeps developing exhibition plans and rehearsing mobile cultural performances to celebrate the upcoming congress. The highest goal of cultural and artistic activities is to inspire solidarity, trust, and national pride, while creating opportunities for people to access and enjoy rich and meaningful cultural values. These activities also help spread the image of Dong Nai as a dynamic province with a proud revolutionary tradition and a strong aspiration to rise in the new era.
Effort underway to bring culture to the grassroots
Celebratory activities for the Party congress are also being emphasized by Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center through efforts to bring cinema closer to the people via seven mobile film screening teams. These teams are currently screening notable works such as the documentary The Glory of Vietnam (episodes 1 and 2), The Special Companion; the Vietnamese feature film Face-Off; and animated films The Legend of the Poinsettia Flower and The Broken Feather. These films are carefully selected to suit different audiences, from children to residents in remote areas, ethnic minority communities, new-style rural communes, border communes, and workers in industrial zones.
To showcase Dong Nai Province’s outstanding achievements across sectors at the first Provincial Party congress for the 2025–2030 term, the Provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with related departments and agencies to organize displays and exhibitions. The exhibitions will feature images, handicrafts, OCOP products, and highlights of Dong Nai in various fields: economy, culture, society, national defense, and security.
In many communes and wards, mass art festivals, public performances, and sports competitions are being organized simultaneously, drawing enthusiastic participation from residents. This is an opportunity for the community to express their love for their homeland and their pride in Dong Nai’s revolutionary tradition. Some communes, such as Nhon Trach and Long Thanh, are renaming art and sports clubs according to a new commune-level model to enhance operational efficiency.
Chairman of Dong Nai Province’s Don Ca Tai Tu (Southern folk music) Club, Pham Lo, said: The club is rehearsing new repertoires about the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and Dong Nai after the merger, preparing to perform and exchange with the public, especially in remote areas, to celebrate the congress. Not only offering sweet, Southern-style melodies, these tai tu pieces also convey trust, pride, and solidarity toward the first Dong Nai provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
