On August 8, the 1st Congress of the Dinh Quan Commune Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term was successfully held. A total of 227 official delegates, representing over 2,100 Party members across the entire Commune Party Committee, attended the congress.

Colonel Vo Thanh Danh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Commander of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command, attended and directed the congress. Also present were former Standing Deputy Secretary of the former Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Specialized delegation of the Dong Nai National Assembly Delegation Bui Xuan Thong; Major General Vo Minh Tri, former Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7; and Major General Tran Van Thanh, former Deputy Director of the Army Academy.
In his opening speech, Nguyen Cao Cuong, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, Chairman of the Dinh Quan Commune People’s Council, stated that the congress was a particularly significant political event, marking a strong transformation of Dinh Quan Commune following the administrative unit reorganization under the two-tier local government model. This was also the first congress of the newly established Commune Party Committee, demonstrating the political determination, confidence, and development aspirations of all cadres, Party members, and residents of Dinh Quan Commune in the new period.

The congress set forth the goal of promoting the strength of unity; enhancing the comprehensive building of a pure, strong Party and political system; proactively innovating, being creative, and making breakthroughs in digital transformation and the application of science and technology; focusing on mobilizing all resources; developing industry, urban areas, and services; effectively tapping into potential and advantages to attract investment; and improving the quality of human resources to create breakthroughs in socio-economic development. At the same time, the congress aims to build ecological agriculture, modern rural areas, and happy farmers; improve the material and spiritual lives of the people; preserve and promote cultural values and historical traditions; and firmly ensure national defense and security.
In his directive speech at the congress, Colonel Vo Thanh Danh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command, emphasized that Dinh Quan Commune must leverage its potential and advantages, make breakthroughs in key sectors, and strengthen investment attraction in trade and services in a civilized and modern direction, thereby creating an important foundation for economic restructuring. The commune should focus on planning work, prioritize tourism development, and place emphasis on organic and circular agriculture, as well as private-sector economic development.

Within the framework of the congress, the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dinh Quan Commune called on delegates to support people in the central provinces affected by Storm No. 3. As a result, 240 participating organizations and individuals contributed nearly VND 32.5 million.
