Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tam Hiep ward

On September 20, Tam Hiep ward held the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) for the 2025-2030 tenure.

Le Thi Thanh Loan, Member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice president of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, and President of the Dong Nai Provincial Women's Union, attended the congress along with local leaders and 180 delegates representing all sectors of the ward's population.

During the previous tenure, the VFF in Tam Hiep ward and its member organizations successfully carried out patriotic emulation movements, which included encouraging residents to respond to urban beautification projects, upholding urban environmental sanitation, and fostering the strength of the great national unity bloc.

In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tam Hiep ward effectively mobilized community resources to implement social welfare initiatives, contributing over 530 million VND to the Fund for the Poor and more than 6 billion VND directly to support disadvantaged individuals without going through the Fund.

In the program, the congress reached a consensus to elect 68 members (with 2 seats remaining vacant) of the VFF Committee of the ward for the 2025-2030 tenure. At the same time, two official delegates and one alternate delegate were elected to attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province for the 2025-2030 tenure. The Congress also voted to adopt its resolution.

At its first conference, the VFF Committee of Tam Hiep ward for the 2025-2030 tenure consulted to elect the Standing Board, the Chairperson, and Vice Chairpersons of the VFF Committee of the ward. Comrade Le Thi Ngoc Ha was re-elected as Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Tam Hiep ward for the new tenure.

Le Thi Thanh Loan, Member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai provincial Women’s Union, requested that in the new tenure, the VFF in Tam Hiep ward effectively implement the mechanism of “the Party leads, the State manages and the people are the masters”, with the motto “The people know; the people discuss; the people do; the people inspect; the people supervise; and the people benefit.” It is essential to strengthen the grasp of people's thoughts, opinions and contributions and promptly address their legitimate aspirations. The methods of communication and education regarding the tradition of the great national unity bloc should be renewed and diversified. There is a need to enhance the political core role of the VFF and socio-political organizations in building the great national unity bloc. Attention should be given to building and improving the quality of the Fatherland Front’s cadre contingent.
