Commending typical advanced models in Dong Nai's health sector

On the afternoon of September 10, the Dong Nai Department of Health held the first conference to honor exemplary individuals and models in the provincial health sector for the 2025–2030 period.

Present at the event were Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments and sectors; and 150 delegates representing healthcare units across the province.

The conference aimed to honor exemplary collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in protecting, caring for, and improving public health across the province. It also reviewed and evaluated the outcomes of the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work in Dong Nai's health sector during the 2020–2025 period while setting out directions, tasks, and solutions to enhance the quality of emulation movements and commendation efforts for the 2025–2030 period.

At the conference, 31 collectives and 29 typical advanced individuals from public healthcare institutions across the province were commended and honored.

On this occasion, Do Thi Nguyen, Specialist Doctor Level II, Director of the Dong Nai Department of Health, also launched a patriotic emulation movement across the health sector under the theme: "Promoting the tradition of solidarity – innovation – creativity – striving to excellently fulfill the mission of protecting, caring for, and improving public health in the 2025–2030 period".

Accordingly, the emulation movement focuses on fulfilling professional duties, advancing administrative reform, and renewing attitudes and service styles with a patient-centered approach. It emphasizes accelerating digital transformation in healthcare, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, ensuring equity in healthcare access, reducing hospital overcrowding, and consolidating and improving the quality of grassroots healthcare and preventive medicine.

The Director of the Dong Nai Department of Health called on all healthcare personnel to continue fostering a spirit of solidarity, innovation, and creativity, while constantly striving for self-improvement to build a workforce of highly competent professionals with strong medical ethics, dedicated to their vocation and committed to serving the public with the highest standards of responsibility and professionalism.
