The ceremony was an occasion to look back on the glorious tradition of the People’s Court of Vietnam, to pay tribute to previous generations, and to affirm the determination to build the people’s court system to be increasingly transparent, strong, modern, dedicated to the Fatherland, serving the people.
On April 16, 1976, the Provisional Revolutionary Government issued a decision to establish the former Dong Nai provincial People’s Court. For nearly half a century, the unit has continuously grown, with quality of trials steadily improving, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, and creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development in the key southern industrial province.

From January 1, 1997, after the division of Song Be province, the former Binh Phuoc provincial People’s Court officially came into operation. Over nearly three decades, despite many difficulties, the two-level court of the former Binh Phuoc province affirmed its role in the border area, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the locality.
Provincial Party Committee member, Chief Justice of the Dong Nai provincial People’s Court Nguyen Thi Tuyet Thanh emphasized: From July 1, 2025, implementing the policy of streamlining the apparatus, the former Dong Nai provincial People’s Court and the former Binh Phuoc provincial People’s Court officially merged into the Dong Nai provincial People’s Court. This is a historic milestone, opening a new stage of development with greater scale and tasks, requiring solidarity, bravery and high determination of all officials and civil servants.
