About 70% of the land is handed over for the Provincial Road 753 Expansion and Ma Da Bridge Project

As of September 5, according to the Dong Nai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, approximately 70 percent of the land for the Provincial Road 753 Expansion and Ma Da Bridge Project, connecting to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep–Thi Vai Port, has been handed over for roadbed construction.

The project to upgrade and expand provincial road 753 and build Ma Da bridge connecting Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port was approved by the Provincial People's Committee under Decision No. 2118/QD-UBND dated December 27, 2023, with a total investment of VND 480 billion. It covers a length of 13 km, running through Dong Tam, Tan Loi communes, and Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai province.

The compensation and land clearance work of the project was assigned to the Dong Xoai and Dong Phu branches of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center. Up to now, these units have essentially completed land inventory and status verification.

However, in order to accelerate progress, recently, the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board has coordinated with local authorities as well as the Dong Xoai and Dong Phu Land Fund Development Center branches to persuade residents to hand over land in advance for construction. So far, around 70% of the land area has been voluntarily handed over for roadbed works.

Regarding construction work, the project currently has 4 construction packages being implemented, with completed work accounting for about 45% of the signed contract value.

According to the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, aside from sections where residents were mobilized to hand over land early for roadbed construction, several segments still lack cleared land for construction. Therefore, the unit has requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to direct its Dong Xoai and Dong Phu branches to proactively and continuously coordinate with relevant agencies to accelerate the land clearance process for project implementation.

In addition, the board has called on Dong Nai Power Co., Ltd to promptly relocate the power grid out of the construction zone to facilitate project implementation.

The Provincial Road 753 Expansion and Ma Da Bridge Project is being developed to establish an inter-regional transport corridor, connecting the Central Highlands provinces through Dong Nai to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port.
