Xuan Lap ward moves towards digital government, organic agriculture, and eco-tourism

Xuan Lap Ward was established on the basis of merging the two wards of Xuan Lap and Bau Sen. During the 2020–2025 tenure, the two Ward Party Committees made great efforts, united to overcome difficulties, and successfully implemented many important targets set out by the congress resolution.

The Party building and political system development in Xuan Lap Ward were strengthened in all three aspects: politics, ideology, and organization. The study and practice of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style were carried out seriously. State management, administrative reform, digital transformation, and transparency in government operations made clear progress. The activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations were promoted, mobilizing all social strata to participate in building the Party and government.

The economy maintained its stable growth rate. Land, construction, and environmental management were gradually rectified. Cultural and social fields, policies for people with meritorious services, social security, and poverty reduction were given due attention and implemented fully and promptly. Political security and social order and safety were maintained; local defense and internal affairs were ensured.

Building on these achievements, for the 2025–2030 tenure, the Ward Party Committee has set out 19 key targets in the areas of Party and government building; economy; society; environment; and national defense – security. At the same time, 8 priority tasks and 3 breakthrough missions were identified, including mobilizing resources for the development of transport infrastructure; developing organic agriculture with high-tech applications linked with garden eco-tourism; promoting digital transformation, enhancing management and administration capacity, and building a digital government.

In her directive speech at the congress, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Long Khanh Ward, Dang Minh Nguyet agreed with the orientations, goals, key tasks, and breakthrough fields proposed by the congress.

She emphasized that the Ward Party Committee should soon stabilize its organizational apparatus, unify ideology, capitalize on the unique strengths of the former localities, and overcome identified limitations.

Particularly, it should complete a streamlined, effective, and efficient government apparatus that is closely connected with the people. At the same time, the Ward Party Committee needs to focus on building a clean and strong Party and political system; continue renewing leadership methods of the Party Committee and government.

The ward should clearly define its economic development model towards enhancing the value of agricultural production, in parallel with building a sustainable new-style urban area. It should proactively review, update, adjust, and supplement ward spatial planning, ensuring consistency with the overall provincial development orientations. Efforts should be made to strongly improve the investment and business environment and attract high-value projects.
