Workers join in the emulation movement to celebrate National Day

In the spirit of pride and excitement shared across the nation as it marks the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, emulation movements among workers at numerous enterprises in Dong Nai province have been active and widespread.

Trade unions at all levels have launched a series of concrete action programs to encourage union members and workers to enthusiastically engage in their work, promote creativity, and contribute to fulfilling production and business targets, thereby making meaningful achievements in celebration of the country's major national holidays.

A widespread spirit of emulation

These days, at Elma Vietnam Industrial Company Limited (based in Nhon Trach Commune), revolutionary songs echo across the factory floor, canteen, and company grounds through the internal loudspeaker system, creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere among the workforce. On the production lines, workers are engaged with energy and efficiency. Sharing in this spirited mood, the grassroots Trade Union has organized a collective birthday celebration for employees born in August 2025 and recognized those with outstanding productivity in July 2025

Tran Cam Thu, a long-time employee at the company, shared: "After nearly 20 years with the company, I've always strived to work hard and improve my skills to keep up with the company's ongoing innovations. Being recognized by the Trade Union for high productivity in July made me very happy as it's a strong motivation for me to continue contributing and enhancing product quality."

Meanwhile, at Dong Phu Cuong Co., Ltd. in Thong Nhat commune, the company launched a "Green Transformation - Productivity Boost" emulation campaign at the beginning of August 2025. The campaign aims to encourage achievements in honor of National Day. Production teams implemented practical improvement initiatives, resulting in tangible results. To acknowledge workers' efforts, the company has continuously held recognition and reward programs to inspire and motivate employees. Recently, it allocated nearly 350 million VND in bonuses to outstanding teams and individuals who fulfilled their July targets and proposed innovative ideas for production improvements.

Trinh Thi Lan, a sewing line worker at Dong Phu Cuong Co., Ltd., shared: "Through the emulation campaign held in celebration of National Day on September 2, we feel an even greater sense of pride and motivation to perform better at work. Each product completed on schedule and with assured quality is also a way for us to express creativity in our work. The company's timely recognition during this important national holiday gives us even more encouragement, helping us improve our skills while contributing to the development of both the business and the country."

The emulation campaign not only carries political and spiritual significance but also yields tangible economic results. Many companies reported monthly productivity increases of 5 to 10%, while dozens of innovative initiatives have been implemented to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. Notably, the campaigns have become a strong motivational force, strengthening the bond between workers and enterprises, helping them overcome challenges together, and ensuring job stability and income security.

Beyond boosting productivity, many grassroots trade unions have integrated these campaigns with workplace safety, cost-saving practices, and the promotion of professional conduct.

A prime example is Freewell Vietnam Co., Ltd., which employs nearly 7,000 workers at Bac Dong Phu Industrial Zone in Dong Phu Commune, Dong Nai Province. With the advantage of a young, dynamic, and enthusiastic workforce, the company has seen strong participation from workers in union-led emulation campaigns, including productivity competitions, initiatives to promote technical innovation, and programs aimed at improving knowledge and professional skills.

Currently, Freewell Vietnam Co., Ltd. operates stably with well-invested infrastructure, including a modern fire prevention and control system, fostering a professional and safe working environment. The company's trade union has taken active steps to enhance the physical and mental well-being of employees, promoting a safe, inclusive, and cohesive workplace culture.

Contributing to the dual goals of development and stability

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, recognizing emulation as a key driver of development, the Provincial Standing Committee has directed all levels of trade unions since the beginning of 2025 to effectively and extensively implement emulation campaigns across agencies, units, and businesses. These campaigns focus primarily on celebrating major national holidays and important political events at both the provincial and national levels.

These initiatives are carried out through concrete, practical actions that aim to fulfill professional duties effectively. Cultural, musical, and sporting events have also been actively organized, contributing to a joyful and vibrant atmosphere that enhances the physical and spiritual well-being of workers and strengthens unity within the labor force.

At Dong Phuong Co., Ltd., an enterprise with over 9,000 employees based in Binh Minh Commune, Dong Nai Province, the grassroots trade union has consistently organized sports and fitness activities throughout 2025, providing a healthy and engaging outlet for workers. Most recently, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the union hosted a cross-country running event that drew more than 700 union members and workers from various production workshops. The participants competed with enthusiasm, demonstrating solidarity and the spirit of "staying fit to work, and working with creativity."

Meanwhile, Dinh Sy Phuc, Chairman of the Trade Union at TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Tran Bien ward), shared that to motivate the workforce and enhance productivity, the union's executive board proactively coordinated with the company to launch patriotic emulation movements tailored to the specific tasks of each production workshop. These initiatives have inspired workers to devote themselves entirely to the production lines, ensuring the highest quality and productivity in output. Moreover, many technical innovations and improvements have been proposed and implemented by both individuals and teams, bringing practical value to operations.

Enterprises have taken this occasion to introduce new technical innovations and honor outstanding workers. These initiatives aim to foster solidarity, promote emulation, enhance production efficiency, and ensure stable employment and income for the workforce. With a vibrant spirit of competition, workers across Dong Nai have achieved notable results and meaningful accomplishments in celebration of National Day. This momentum also serves as a powerful affirmation of the pioneering role of the working class in the national cause of development and defense.
