In addition, through meaningful gifts and practical activities, the Dong Nai Provincial Police force has clearly demonstrated its core role, maintaining close ties and standing alongside the people, contributing to the establishment of a solid grassroots security posture.

Compassion in every action

Amid the nationwide atmosphere of enthusiastic emulation to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force, and the 20th anniversary of the "All People Protect the Fatherland's Security" movement, the Dong Nai Provincial Police, in coordination with local police units, has simultaneously carried out numerous community-oriented activities under the motto: "Close to the people, deeply engaged with the people, and devoted to serving the people."

Through the "All people safeguard the Fatherland's security"  movement, small but meaningful gifts were directly presented to policy beneficiary families, underprivileged yet hardworking students, and representatives of religious establishments. These acts not only help alleviate immediate hardships but also promote social responsibility and strengthen the bond between local authorities, at both the provincial and grassroots levels, and the community.

A notable example took place at the "All people safeguard the Fatherland's security" festival, July 25, in Binh Loc Ward, Dong Nai Province. On this occasion, the Provincial Police presented 20 bicycles and numerous scholarships to students facing particularly difficult circumstances, including those lacking support or essential resources for school. Additionally, many gifts were delivered to families with revolutionary contributions, ethnic minority communities, religious institutions, and other disadvantaged groups.

One highlight of the series of activities was the presentation of gifts to students in difficult circumstances, offering them encouragement to overcome adversity and confidently move toward a brighter future. Truong Cong Quang, a student at Nguyen Huu Canh Primary School in Binh Loc Commune, lost both his parents at a young age and is currently living with relatives in extremely challenging economic conditions. The gift of a brand-new bicycle, handed to him in person, not only makes his journey to school more convenient but also stands as a powerful symbol of the compassion and solidarity shown by the police force and local authorities toward the younger generation.

In addition to supporting and caring for the lives of people in the province, the Dong Nai Provincial Police have extended their compassion beyond provincial borders. Guided by the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, they have also assisted communities in other regions affected by natural disasters. For instance, on August 2, a working delegation from the Dong Nai Provincial Police, led by Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police, visited Nghe An Province to hand over their support to those impacted by Storm No. 3. The delegation presented 1.6 billion VND to aid affected residents, including the families of officers and soldiers, helping them recover and overcome difficulties.

Major General Nguyen Duc Hai extended his regards and words of encouragement to the people and the families of officers and soldiers affected by Storm No. 3. He also expressed his hope that the people of Nghe An Province in general, and the Nghe An Provincial Police in particular, will soon overcome these difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives and work.

The "All People Protect the Fatherland's Security" festival is not limited to visits and gift-giving, but also integrates various professional activities aimed at crime prevention and deterrence, such as legal education campaigns, summoning and warning individuals of concern, and collecting weapons, explosives, and support tools.

Specifically, on August 1, the Loc Ninh Commune Police in Dong Nai Province carried out various activities, including intensifying legal education efforts, encouraging residents to surrender weapons, explosives, support tools, and fireworks; expanding inspections and screenings of high-risk areas and individuals, particularly in border zones, wharves, and warehouses, while strictly handling violations. These efforts have helped foster a stronger sense of legal compliance and public participation in crime reporting.

"The ultimate goal of the ' All People Safeguard the Fatherland's Security' movement is to mobilize the highest strength of the people, closely connect the people's hearts, and unify the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws. From there, create a solid source of strength to help the country overcome all difficulties, develop rapidly and sustainably, and achieve the goals set by the Party," Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasized.

Building a strong and lasting movement

Activities aimed at improving people’s livelihoods within the “All People Protect the Fatherland’s Security” movement not only reflect a strong sense of responsibility but also affirm the core role of the police force in building a solid grassroots security posture. In doing so, they work together with the people to maintain peace and stability in the area.

During the "All people safeguard the Fatherland's security" festival in Binh Loc Ward on July 25, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, highly appreciated the efforts of the Dong Nai Provincial Police in promoting the effectiveness of the 2-level local police model, performing well the core role in the "All people safeguard the Fatherland's security" movement.

According to leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the streamlining of the organizational structure and operations of the two-tier local government system marks a significant historical milestone with strategic importance. It aims to build a government that is closer to the people, more deeply connected with them, and better serves their needs, while also creating space and momentum for development, all with the ultimate goal of improving the material and spiritual well-being of the people.

To build on the results already achieved, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung urged the Dong Nai Provincial Police to continue enhancing the quality of personnel work within local Party committees and government bodies. This endeavor should go hand-in-hand with the development of community-based models focused on self-defense, self-management, self-protection, and self-reconciliation. He also emphasized fostering cultured, united families and schools, promoting neighborly support, and creating peaceful, law-abiding villages and streets.

In parallel, local authorities must prioritize the effective implementation of socio-economic development policies, ensuring that all citizens benefit from the progress brought by innovation and growth. Special attention should be given to improving the quality of life for workers in industrial zones. Additionally, he called for organizing meaningful activities to show gratitude and support for those contributing to public security, such as visiting, encouraging, and caring for the families of officers, those building grassroots movements, community security forces, and civilians injured in the fight against crime.

With the active engagement of the entire political system and the unity of the people, the “All People Protect the Fatherland’s Security” movement in Dong Nai Province has been growing stronger, deepening in substance, and generating a positive impact. Meaningful gestures and practical actions stand as vivid evidence of a police force that sacrifices for the nation and is wholeheartedly committed to serving the people.
