According to initial reports, at around 9:30 p.m. on August 22, at the railway crossing with Hung Vuong Street (Long Khanh Ward, Dong Nai Province), when staff members Vu Thi Dien and Tran Thi Thuy were closing the barrier for train SE4-DM 953 run through, a man on a motorbike with license plate 52F1-2010 unexpectedly drove into the crossing, struck the barrier, and fell onto the tracks. Both the rider and his vehicle became stuck as the train was rapidly approaching.

Without hesitation, the two crossing keepers quickly signaled to warn the train and pulled the man and his motorbike out of the danger zone. The incident caused train SE4-DM 953 to halt for about 4–5 minutes and damaged the crossing barrier.

Police are coordinating with the railway sector to investigate the case.
