Trang Dai Ward is one of the most populous localities in Dong Nai Province following the merger. It also has a young labor force, offering significant potential and favorable conditions for development. In addition, Trang Dai Ward is home to a network of industrial clusters and a large number of businesses and household enterprises, providing a strong foundation for promoting the growth of industry, trade, and services.

In addition to promoting business development, Trang Dai Commune will also receive investment in infrastructure, benefit from effective planning and management, and be developed in a comprehensive and high-quality manner.

Great potential for development

Trang Dai Ward was established through the merger of the former Trang Dai Ward of Bien Hoa City and Thien Tan Commune of Vinh Cuu District. Covering an area of over 37.3 square kilometers and home to a population of 145,500, it ranks among the most populous wards of the former Bien Hoa City. With the integration of Thien Tan Commune, the new Trang Dai Ward has expanded in both size and industrial capacity, accompanied by a rapid increase in the number of enterprises and business households. Compared to neighboring localities, the ward still holds significant economic potential, particularly in the services sector.

During the 2020–2025 period, the economic structure of Trang Dai Ward and Thien Tan Commune continued to shift in a positive and stable direction, with trade and services playing a central role. Annual state budget revenue consistently met or exceeded assigned targets, with total revenue for the period reaching nearly 224 billion VND. Currently, Trang Dai Ward is home to three industrial clusters, more than 3,300 enterprises, and 3,700 business households operating effectively, making significant contributions to economic restructuring and the overall development of the locality.

Choosing Trang Dai Ward as the location to establish his company and launch his startup, Nguyen Hai Nam, Director of Thien Nam Group Co., Ltd., shared that his business specializes in providing outdoor advertising design and construction solutions, signboard design, and brand identity development for enterprises. According to Nam, the local customer base is substantial, thanks to the growing number of service businesses in the area. From its initial base, Thien Nam Group has since expanded its service network across southern provinces and cities, securing numerous contracts from major brand chains.

Similarly, with the dream of building a company that produces automation equipment, Le Xuan Thoi and like-minded colleagues pursued their determination to start a business. Currently, his company, Astek Co., Ltd., has partnered with several enterprises in the area to improve its production capacity. The products Astek is bringing to the market include automatic packaging lines, raw material feeding systems, and machinery designed to reduce human labor, all tailored to customer needs…

To strengthen the management of construction and land-related issues in the area, Trang Dai Ward is calling on residents to serve as an “extended arm” by providing information on urgent matters, with violations to be strictly handled once detected.

Restructuring towards modern industrial services

Trang Dai Ward has recently held a successful Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term. In the new term, the Ward Party Committee has set 21 targets across various sectors. The identified breakthrough tasks include strengthening leadership and direction, and resolutely rectifying the management of urban order, land, and construction throughout the ward. The committee will proactively develop and implement plans and thematic programs to enhance oversight in these areas.

According to Chairman of the Ward People’s Committee Nguyen Dinh Kien, one of the ward’s key tasks in the new term is to continue promoting growth and restructuring the economy toward the development of industry, trade, and services, while accelerating digital transformation. With considerable development potential, encouraging enterprises and investors to expand production and business activities will help drive the local economy and better meet the needs of the people.

In addition to promoting the development of trade and services, planning management remains a critical issue, as the area has long been a hotspot for land and construction due to rapid population growth and urbanization. Key tasks for Trang Dai Ward in the coming period include: synchronized investment in transportation infrastructure to prevent congestion and enhance connectivity among urban areas in line with industrial, modern, and sustainable development goals; as well as reviewing, adjusting, and completing land-use and construction planning.
