In recent years, Cam My Regional Medical Center has implemented several advanced medical techniques, including hemodialysis, laparoscopic surgery, and remote consultations with Bach Mai Hospital. These efforts have significantly improved the quality of medical examination and treatment for residents. However, the center continues to face numerous challenges, such as a shortage of doctors and nurses, deteriorating infrastructure, and limited revenue from public services.
During the meeting, the center proposed that the provincial health authorities maintain support policies for healthcare human resources in the 2026-2030 period. The center also requested additional staffing, investment in medical equipment, and timely guidance on the operational mechanisms of local health stations.
Speaking at the session, Dr. Do Thi Nguyen, Director of the Dong Nai Department of Health, affirmed that the department would work to address equipment shortages and mobilize resources to improve medical services and disease prevention efforts in the area.

She also called on Cam My Regional Medical Center to take the initiative in attracting and retaining healthcare personnel, develop a pricing schedule for on-demand medical services, and gradually move toward financial autonomy to improve staff income. The center was also urged to consider merging the Song Ray Regional Clinic with the Song Ray Health Station to make more effective use of infrastructure and human resources from both facilities.
