Promoting solidarity to build Hang Gon into a green, safe, friendly and civilized ward

On the afternoon of August 13, the first Congress of the Hang Gon Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term held its official working session. Dang Minh Nguyet, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Long Khanh Ward, attended and delivered her directive speech at the congress.

The event welcomed representatives from Provincial Party committees and 150 delegates representing 647 Party members in the entire ward Party Committee.

The congress reviewed the leadership results of the Party Committee of the Xuan Tan Ward and Hang Gon Commune during the 2020-2025 term (prior to the merger), discussed the orientation and tasks for Hang Gon Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and provided comments on the draft documents of the higher-level Party Congress.

For the 2025–2030 term, the Ward Party Committee set the overarching goal of continuing to renew the leadership methods and capacity of Party organizations; building a clean, strong Party Committee and political system; reforming and enhancing the effectiveness and capacity of the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations; effectively mobilizing and utilizing resources for socio-economic development in tandem with environmental protection and improving people's living standards; improving human resource quality; promoting the application of science, technology, and digital transformation; ensuring national defense and security; and developing Hang Gon into a "green, safe, friendly, and civilized" ward.

Attending and giving a speech at the congress, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Long Khanh Ward, Dang Minh Nguyet, commended and acknowledged the results achieved by the Ward Party Committee in the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Dang Minh Nguyet expressed strong agreement with the objectives, orientations, and breakthrough tasks set by the congress. She also proposed that the Ward Party Committee continue to study comprehensively and internalize deeply the consistent viewpoint, and resolutely implement the instruction of General Secretary To Lam on "Solidarity – the truth of all times", and always regard maintaining internal unity as a vital principle and a foremost requirement in Party building work.

Dang Minh Nguyet proposed that the new Party Executive Committee of the ward focus on leadership, direction, and thorough dissemination to all cadres, party members, and people about the correct policy of the two-level local government model. It is necessary to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity of will and action within the entire Party, creating high solidarity and consensus in society.

Alongside that, there is a need to promote political and ideological education associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, while enhancing the sense of responsibility in serving the people among officials, Party members, civil servants, and public employees, ensuring that the two-level local government model truly becomes a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

The Ward Party Committee is urged to fully harness the locality's existing potential and advantages to drive socio-economic development in the area; proactively review, update, adjust, and supplement the ward's spatial development plan, ensuring alignment with the province's overall development orientation. It should advise and propose to the provincial authorities key infrastructure investment projects, especially in urban infrastructure, transportation, commerce, and services for green and sustainable development.
