Proactively implementing comprehensive plans
In recent days, the staff of Bien Hoa Bus Station (located in Tran Bien ward) have been actively ensuring order and traffic safety, serving people’s travel needs during the Vietnamese National Day holiday.
The station management has assigned staff to renovate the premises, hang banners, display the national flag, and decorate the station, especially in waiting rooms and ticket offices… At the same time, representatives of the station leadership visited registered transport companies to disseminate regulations and rules on ensuring traffic safety during the holiday.

Specifically, transport companies are required to proactively prepare vehicles and service plans to meet passenger demand and prevent sudden surges that could lead to congestion at stations, publicly display service quality standards and ticket prices for each route to enable passengers to make informed choices, and support the work of relevant authorities in inspecting vehicles and drivers prior to departure.

Dieu Pham Xuan Binh, head of the General Planning Department at Bien Hoa Bus Station in Dong Nai province, said that following the directives of the provincial People's Committee and the Department of Construction, Bien Hoa Bus Station proactively developed an implementation plan for the holiday period. Station management assigned specific tasks and arranged round-the-clock staff shifts during peak days to enhance security both inside and outside the station. The station strictly enforces regulations on bus entry and exit; vehicles without registered routes are not permitted to pick up or drop off passengers at the station to prevent unfair competition and maintain public order.
Similarly, Dong Nai Bus Station (located in Tam Hiep ward) has also been actively preparing to ensure order, traffic safety, and travel needs during the holiday.
The leadership of Vinh Phu Transportation Development Investment Joint Stock Company (Dong Nai province), which directly manages the station, has instructed staff to clean and refurbish the premises, while coordinating with transport companies to comply with service plans, schedules, and fares. In particular, the company has assigned specialized departments to increase staff on duty 24/24 during peak days to ensure security and safety for vehicles and passengers.
Tong Thanh Hai, general director of Vinh Phu Transportation Development Investment Joint Stock Company, said: The company has proactively developed and implemented multiple comprehensive plans to ensure safety for passengers, vehicles, and goods entering and exiting the station during the holiday. Especially this year, the provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Construction directed transport enterprises not to raise fares but to keep them stable as on normal days. Accordingly, the company has informed transport businesses and vehicle owners to comply. At this point, all preparations have been basically completed and are ready to ensure smooth and safe service for the Vietnamese National Day holiday, bringing passengers safely to their destinations.

Ensuring safety for passengers
This year’s holiday lasts several days, so railway passenger volume is expected to be higher than in previous years. Therefore, the railway sector in general and Bien Hoa Railway Station in particular have proactively prepared plans and measures to ensure order and security while meeting passenger demand during the holiday.
According to Nguyen Xuan Canh, head of the Business Center for railway transport and general services in Bien Hoa (Bien Hoa Station), the railway sector will add 51 train trips on major routes and adjust schedules and departure-arrival stations of some trains in Hanoi between August 21 and September 2, 2025, to meet increased travel demand and coordinate with the city’s anniversary activities.
On August 25, 2025, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai issued a document to agencies, units, and enterprises, requesting concentrated implementation of measures to ensure traffic order and safety during the Vietnamese National Day holiday and the 2025-2026 school year opening ceremony. Accordingly, the department requested bus stations to organize and assign specific tasks, arrange staff at the station to guide and support passengers for convenient ticket purchase and service use, expand online and phone ticket sales while preventing illegal ticket hoarding and black-market sales.

Transport enterprises are not allowed to increase fares. If any adjustments are made, they must comply with fare stabilization measures as directed by the provincial People's Committee and the Department of Construction. They are also required to implement preferential policies for disadvantaged individuals, policy-beneficiary families, and people with disabilities, covering ticket prices, seating arrangements, departure and return schedules, and other related services. Vehicles that fail to meet safety standards or have exceeded their permitted service life are strictly prohibited from operation under any circumstances.
Dong Nai province currently has 441 licensed transport operators with a total of 10,456 registered vehicles. These include 17 bus operators with 231 buses, 26 fixed-route operators with 233 vehicles, and 11 taxi operators with 1,986 cars. In addition, the province has 6,826 contracted vehicles and 28,501 trucks. This fleet is expected to meet public travel demand during the holiday period sufficiently.
