On the afternoon of August 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province organized a donation reception to support disadvantaged border schools in the province. Accordingly, five organizations offered donations with a total value of over VND 1.6 billion. Of which, the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association donated 200 gift packages worth VND 200 million; Lac Hong University and Lac Hong Primary-Secondary-High School contributed 40 sets of computers, desks and chairs, networking devices, server cabinets, and other electronic supplies worth VND 300 million; Dong Nai University of Technology donated 90 computer sets worth VND 1.05 billion; Dong Nai Books and School Equipment provided preschool books, reference books, notebooks, pens, and stationery worth more than VND 100 million.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Tan Phu said that Dong Nai province has 8 border communes where many schools are still facing difficulties. He expressed gratitude to the organizations for their support and companionship with schools. He was also committed to promptly delivering the support to the right beneficiaries. At the same time, he called for more organizations, units, and philanthropists to join hands in building schools that can meet national standards.

The donors affirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and pledged maximum support for the activities of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Department of Education and Training. In particular, Lac Hong University expressed its wish to not only provide equipment but also organize AI training courses for teachers and students in remote areas, as well as give support and advice for their participation in science and technology competitions.
