In celebration of the Party Congresses at all levels and towards the 2025-2030 term Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, young people in Dong Nai have recently carried out numerous meaningful projects and initiatives. These projects not only demonstrate the pioneering and volunteer spirit of the Youth Union members but also serve as vivid evidence of the creativity and sense of responsibility of the young generation in contributing to building an increasingly prosperous, civilized, and modern homeland.

Youth works born from youthful energy
After nearly a week of work, the “Flowering Power Poles” youth project, jointly implemented by the Youth Union of Trang Dai Ward and Dong Nai University of Technology, has been completed.
Tran Thi Tham, Secretary of the Trang Dai Ward Youth Union, said: “To help create a lively, competitive atmosphere in celebration of the Party Congresses at all levels, the ward’s Youth Union has implemented various youth models and projects, including the ‘Flowering Power Poles’ project along Bui Trong Nghia Street (section through residential groups 3 and 3A). To complete the project before the first Congress of the Ward Party Committee, from July 30 to August 4, Youth Union members of Trang Dai Ward and Dong Nai University of Technology joined forces to carry out the work.”
Nguyen Minh Kien, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, stated: “Based on the provincial Youth Union’s emulation movement to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, Youth Union organizations and members across the province have actively responded, showing the spirit and responsibility of youth towards this major event of the nation.
Tran Hai Phong, a member of the Youth Union of Residential Group 2A, Trang Dai Ward, shared: Participating in the Flowering Power Poles project, I, along with ward Youth Union members and those from Dong Nai University of Technology, scraped off illegal ads, cleaned the poles, applied primer, sketched designs, and painted them. After nearly a week, power poles once covered with unsightly ads have been transformed into colorful depictions of flowers, leaves, and marine life.
Another youth project involving painting was a large-scale mural at Tran Hung Dao Secondary School (Tran Bien Ward), jointly implemented by the Youth Union of Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts and Tran Bien Ward Youth Union.
Vo Minh Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts, shared: “Vietnam is entering a new era - the era of the nation’s rise. Therefore, the two units agreed to implement a youth project under the theme Steadfastly Moving Towards the Future. The mural measures 7.2 meters in width and 4.9 meters in height, featuring images of teachers, pupils, and students of various ages, along with the Tran Bien Temple of Literature. Notably, in the top left corner is the inscription: ‘Every sky over our homeland is a sky of the Fatherland,’ serving as a reminder to each Youth Union member, young person, and citizen that wherever they live in Vietnam, every region is part of their homeland. In doing so, it helps strengthen and promote the great national unity bloc.”
Promoting Digital Transformation
Nguyen Minh Kien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: Right from the beginning of 2025, when developing our annual work program, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union identified communication and emulation activities to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress as a key task.

This task has been integrated with the province’s major political missions, including implementing the two-tier local government model. Since early July 2025, Youth Union organizations across the province have deployed 96 teams of volunteer youth to support the operation of this model, helping ensure smooth administrative procedures for citizens. In addition to on-site volunteer teams, the Provincial Youth Union has also sent volunteers to assist in remote, border, and disadvantaged areas, earning praise from Party committees, local authorities, and residents.
Furthermore, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union has registered the Digital Congress youth project, supporting Party committees at all levels in applying IT in organizing congresses. To date, about 10 units have used this application in their congresses.
The application enables digitization of documents, programs for each session, delegate check-in, delegate seat-finding via floor plans, online voting, and real-time results tracking. It also provides social media profile frames, expectations boards for delegates, and exclusive congress forums.
Each commune or ward using the application only needs to invest from 20 to 30 million VND (depending on the number of functions displayed) for technology infrastructure and security platforms as prescribed by the software provider. The Provincial Youth Union supports units with system setup, delegate account permissions, content and media updates, training for local Party committee staff, and interface/branding design for the congress. The application helps reduce paper usage and printing, gradually integrating digital transformation into grassroots-level activities, while promoting the role and responsibility of young people in driving digital transformation.
