Long Khanh Ward announces three planning projects and introduces investment attraction

On the morning of August 28, the People’s Committee of Long Khanh Ward, Dong Nai Province, held a conference to announce the Master Planning projects and introduce investment attraction in the area.

The conference was attended by Dang Minh Nguyet, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People’s Council of Long Khanh Ward.

Also present were Mai Phong Phu, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Land Fund Development Center, and Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board.

Speaking at the conference, Tang Quoc Lap, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Long Khanh Ward, emphasized that announcing the planning projects is not only a legal requirement but also an important step to help Long Khanh ward develop in a synchronous, modern and sustainable direction. This serves as a crucial basis for residents, organizations, and businesses to access information, while also sending a strong invitation to investors to join in building Long Khanh into an attractive destination for urban development, trade - services and technical infrastructure.

At the conference, the People’s Committee of Long Khanh Ward announced three key planning projects, including Project to locally adjust the Long Khanh City Master Plan at a scale of 1/10,000 to 2040, with a vision to 2050, approved in Decision No. 2254/QD-UBND dated June 27, 2025 of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee; 1/2,000 scale zoning plan - Sub-zone 1 in the former wards of Xuan An, Xuan Binh, Xuan Hoa, Phu Binh; and 1/2,000 scale zoning plan - Sub-zone 5 in Bau Tram commune (now both belong to Long Khanh ward).

Representatives from the consulting units, including ACUD Vietnam Construction Technology Joint Stock Company, Nikken Sekkei Company, and Plan ADD Vietnam Co., Ltd., presented papers analyzing the current situation and spatial development orientation. They also affirmed the feasibility of the projects in opening up new land funds, shaping urban functional areas, and creating favorable conditions for strategic investment projects.

The projects, once approved, will become an important legal foundation for implementing detailed planning steps, developing infrastructure, attracting businesses, and mobilizing social resources, thereby strongly promoting the socio-economic development process of Long Khanh ward in the new period.

On this occasion, the People’s Committee of the ward introduced projects and plots of land for investment in Long Khanh Ward, which have strong potential for commercial and service development, contributing to the formation of new economic centers in the locality. The planned plots are designed synchronously, with locations conveniently connected to main traffic axes and close to existing residential areas, schools, markets, and administrative centers, providing favorable conditions for the development of commercial projects, supermarkets, shopping centers, logistics services, and community activity spaces.

This conference on announcing the planning projects reflects the political determination of the Party Committee and authorities of Long Khanh Ward in building a civilized and modern urban landscape, worthy of its position as a socio-economic center.

During the discussion, representatives of businesses and residents raised various opinions focusing on the significance and importance of the planning projects for local development. They noted that dividing land use functions and arranging land funds reasonably are essential foundations for implementing detailed planning steps at a scale of 1/500 in the near future.

Thanks to the organization of a conference to simultaneously announce many planning projects, Long Khanh Ward is asserting its pioneering role in concretizing the province’s urban development orientation.
