Handover of a Trade Union Shelter for a union member in difficult circumstances

On the morning of August 29, the Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labour, in coordination with Xuan Hoa Commune, held a ceremony to hand over a Trade Union Shelter to union member Nguyen Van Toai, who works at Xuan Hung Kindergarten.

Construction of the house began in June 2025 with a total cost of nearly 350 million VND, including 50 million VND supported by the Social Fund of the Provincial Confederation of Labour. The remaining amount was contributed by family members, relatives, and benefactors. At the handover ceremony, trade unions at all levels presented gifts to congratulate Toai's family.

Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labour Nguyen Duc Thang stated that the Trade Union Shelter program has been implemented for many years, delivering not only material support but also reflecting the care, solidarity, and companionship of the trade union toward workers. The program helps members secure stable housing, enabling them to focus on their work and contribute with peace of mind. The Confederation hopes that each newly handed-over shelter will mark the beginning of many positive changes, motivating workers' families to strive for a better life.
