Gyeongnam youth and adolescents visit historical relics and museums in Dong Nai

As part of exchange activities in Dong Nai, on August 12, the youth and adolescent delegation from Gyeongnam Province (the Republic of Korea - RoK) visited the Dong Nai Museum.

The Dong Nai Museum houses and displays thousands of valuable artifacts, ranging from archaeological relics to historical findings, arts, and folk culture. Here, the museum staff introduced the delegation to the nature, people, culture of local ethnic communities, as well as traditional crafts in Dong Nai.

In addition, the museum staff gave the delegation a representation on Dong Nai throughout its historical periods: prehistoric times, early history, reclamation, struggles for national liberation, and national construction and defence…

That morning, the Gyeongnam youth and adolescent delegation also experienced wearing Vietnam’s traditional ao dai; and visited the Tran Bien Temple of Literature – a place that preserves, maintains, and honors the cultural and educational values of Bien Hoa region.

Here, the delegation learned about the history of the Tran Bien Temple of Literature; offered incense and flowers at the Worship Hall. This activity helped the Gyeongnam youth and adolescent gain a deeper understanding of Dong Nai’s history, culture, and people.

On August 13, the Gyeongnam youth and adolescent delegation continue visiting and experiencing cultural, recreational, and culinary activities at the Son Tien Tourist Area (Long Hung Ward).
