Gyeongnam youth and adolescents conclude exchange activities in Dong Nai

On August 14, the youth and adolescent delegation from Gyeongnam Province, Republic of Korea, continued taking part in their exchange and experiential activities in Dong Nai.

Notably, in the morning, the delegation experienced how to make pottery at Bien Hoa Pottery Company (in Tran Bien ward). Here, they toured the facility and tried their hand at several stages of creating pottery products, from kneading clay, shaping, painting, engraving patterns to glazing. In addition, the delegation got a chance to admire a variety of Bien Hoa pottery pieces in different sizes, patterns, and colors on display.

This activity helped Gyeongnam youth and adolescents learn more about one of Dong Nai’s long-standing traditional crafts. Thereby, it also served to promote Bien Hoa pottery products, contributing to the preservation and promotion of local cultural heritage.

*On the same day, the Gyeongnam youth and adolescent delegation visited and exchanged with students of Ngo Quyen High School - one of Dong Nai’s oldest and prestigious schools. Generations of its students have become officials, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, and artists who have made significant contributions to Dong Nai Province and the country.

At the event, Gyeongnam youth and adolescents, and Ngo Quyen High School students exchanged dance performances and introduced the basic history, culture, and traditions of their respective homelands. Therefore, this contributed to strengthening mutual understanding and deepening the friendship between the two provinces in particular and between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea in general.

This was also the final activity of the Gyeongnam youth and adolescent delegation during their exchange days in Dong Nai before returning home on the evening of August 14.
