Exciting sports and singing contest at Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television

On the afternoon of August 22, Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television held a sports and singing contest to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025).

The contest brought together eight teams from the departments of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio & Television, including: Editorial Board; Organization–Administration and Finance–Planning Department; News Department; Joint team of Circulation Services Department with the Online Newspaper and Digital Content Department; Technical and Program Production Department; Joint team of Transmission Technology Department with the Editorial Secretariat; Specialized Department; Joint team of Public and Archives Department with Sports and Entertainment Department; and the joint team of Electronic Information Portal Management Department with the Print Newspaper Department and the Security Police unit.

In a joyful and exciting atmosphere, athletes from the teams competed in 2 categories: Tug of war and sack jumping race. Besides that, contestants from 8 teams also participated in the karaoke singing contest "Golden Voice of Dong Nai Newspaper Village", each team brought 2 performances, including male (or female) solo and duet, and group singing. With the enthusiastic cheers from the audience, competitors gave their best efforts, contributing to the exciting atmosphere and the success of the competition.

The sports and singing contest was organized to honor the dedication of the leadership, staff, and employees who have made significant contributions to the press sector. It also aimed to foster a lively spirit of emulation, provide a fun and healthy playground, and strengthen solidarity, connection, and camaraderie among officials, employees, and full-time collaborators of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television after its merger.

At the conclusion, the organizers presented awards to the top-performing teams and individuals in sack race, tug-of-war, solo singing, and duet/choral singing categories.
