Exciting activities held to celebrate 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Office of State Administrative Agencies

On the morning of August 24, at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival and art performance competition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Office of State Administrative Agencies (August 28, 1945 - 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Office of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee (1975-2025).

In her opening speech, Deputy Chief of Office of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Dinh Thi Da Thao said that the sports festival and art performance contest are practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Office of State Administrative Agencies.

The sports event not only provided an opportunity for cadres and employees to showcase their skills, resilience, and passion for sports, but also served as a platform for learning, interaction, and strengthening the bonds between colleagues, departments, and centers.

The sports and art performance competition took place from August 18 to 24, attracting the participation of 10 units from departments, offices and centers under the Provincial People's Committee Office with nearly 200 contestants and athletes competing in 10 events. These included men’s mini football; badminton (men’s singles, women’s singles, men's and women's doubles, men’s doubles); pickleball (men’s singles, women’s singles, men's and women's doubles, men’s doubles); tug-of-war; sack racing (male-female pairs); chess; Chinese chess; slow cycling; the unification train; giant volleyball, and art competitions: solo, duet, and group singing (karaoke).

After the opening ceremony, the sports festival featured competitions in the following categories: the unified train, sack race, giant volleyball, slow cycling, and tug-of-war.

Prior to this, the sports festival witnessed competitions in the following sports: men’s mini football, Chinese chess, chess, badminton, pickleball and art performances.
