According to the Dong Nai Provincial Public Administration Service Center, as of August 25, 2025, Dong Nai Province scored 85.75 points, ranking 3rd out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide. This marks a 14.5-point increase and a three-position rise compared to July 2025 in the Public Service Index, which measures the performance of administrative procedures and public service delivery for citizens and businesses. The index is published on the National Public Service Portal in accordance with Decision No. 766/QD-TTg dated June 23, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister (referred to as Index 766).

This achievement reflects the concerted efforts of provincial departments, sectors, and localities, following the direction of the Provincial People’s Committee. Authorities have worked diligently to advance administrative procedure reform and improve the quality of public services for citizens and businesses, particularly in the period following the restructuring of the two-tier local government system.

Additionally, the province has effectively implemented Plan No. 18/KH-UBND dated July 24, 2025, issued by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, as part of a 30-day campaign to increase the rate of digitized records, online public services, and digital payment adoption.

Despite these positive results, some localities still had scores below the average in four groups of criteria: digitalization rate, the timeliness of administrative procedure resolution, the implementation of online public services, and the adoption of digital payment methods.

To enhance the effectiveness of administrative reform and raise scores in the Index 766, relevant units and localities are urged to focus on several key aspects: online

applications, online payments, electronic result delivery, on-time processing of applications, and enhancing the satisfaction of citizens and businesses.”
