Dong Nai province leaders visit, encourage and present gifts to A80 units

On the afternoon of August 22, at the National Military Training Center No. 4 in Hanoi, a working delegation from the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, led by Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the People’s Council Tran Van Mi, visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to units undergoing training to serve the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day celebrations (known as Mission A80).

Welcoming the Dong Nai’s delegation were Colonel Nguyen Nhu Truc, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of Military Region 7, representative of the A80 Steering Committee, Military Region 7; delegates of the center, and more than 700 female soldiers, self-defense guerrillas participating in A80 training.

Since early June, Military Region 7 has been responsible for training the male paratrooper special forces, female commando units, and female Southern guerrilla units. Despite harsh weather conditions and intensive training schedules, the units have performed well, especially in the first full-dress rehearsal at Ba Dinh Square on the evening of August 21. Their efforts were highly commended by senior commanders.

In terms of welfare and support measures, all teams have received close attention from the relevant agencies and units. To date, 24 delegations from 12 enterprises and various organizations have visited A80 personnel to offer encouragement, helping them train with confidence and perform well for the national celebration.

In his speech to encourage the forces, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Van Mi commended and acknowledged the results that the A80 units of Military Region 7, including Dong Nai Province, have achieved. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Van Mi emphasized that through listening to the report and directly meeting the A80 soldiers with good training results, especially the young, energetic female soldiers from Dong Nai and other provinces, cities of Military Region 7, he saw signals of confidence, happiness, determination to contribute in excellently completing the assigned tasks.

Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Van Mi urged the troops to continue their efforts to overcome difficulties, focus on training with pride, determination, and a strong sense of national dignity to complete their tasks successfully.

On behalf of the A80 forces, Colonel Nguyen Nhu Truc expressed sincere gratitude to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province. The Colonel affirmed the troops’ determination to train with precision and discipline, contributing to the success of the upcoming grand national celebration.
