On August 30, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province issued a decision approving additional funding for gifts to residents on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2). The total approved budget allocation is 432,708,800,000 VND.
According to the decision, the funding will be drawn from the targeted supplementary allocation under Decision No. 1867/QD-TTg dated August 29, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister, along with a partial advance from the provincial budget reserve. The funds will be distributed to communes and wards across Dong Nai province to provide gifts to residents in the locality in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

The gifts will be distributed once per household, with the amount for each household determined based on the number of members recorded in the national population database. The household head will receive the gifts on behalf of all members listed.
The distribution is to be completed on August 30, 2025. In special cases, recipients may collect their gifts after this date, but no later than September 15, 2025.
Earlier, on August 29, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc signed Decision No. 1867/QĐ-TTg on targeted supplementary allocations from the central budget to local budgets to provide gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
The decision clearly states that targeted supplementary funding will be drawn from the 2025 central budget expenditure estimates approved by the National Assembly, but not yet specifically allocated. A total of 10,700,242,800,000 VND will be distributed to 34 provinces and cities to implement the policy of providing gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
