Comrade Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee, has signed Plan No. 44/KH-UBND (dated August 12, 2025) to hold the “Marching Forward with Vietnam” event across Dong Nai Province.

According to the plan, the walking event entitled “Marching Forward with Vietnam” aims to promote patriotism and solidarity among the people of Dong Nai, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day on September 2, and People’s Public Security Forces’ Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 –2025). The event also encourages sports training movement in response to the Campaign “All People Exercise Following Uncle Ho’s Example”. Additionally, it seeks to strengthen the bond between people’s public security officiers and the community, helping build a positive image of the Police Officers in the eyes of the people.
Vo Tan Duc, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, requires 100% of communes and wards in the province to actively participate in the event “Marching Forward with Vietnam”. The event must be organized solemnly, safely, and economically, while mobilizing social resources. Broad participation of officials, civil servants, and the public is encouraged.

The event is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, with the provincial center at the Dong Nai Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, No. 5 Nguyen Ai Quoc Street, Tan Trieu Ward.
Simultaneously in the grassroots levels, 95 communes and wards across Dong Nai will each select a local central site to organize the event.
According to the plan, the route at the provincial center will start from the gate of the Sports Training and Competition Center, proceed to the intersection of Nguyen Ai Quoc and Phan Dinh Phung streets, and then return (3 kilometers). At grassroots-level sites, local routes determined by the respective People’s Committees, will cover 2 to 3 kilometers.
Regarding uniforms, officials, officers, union members, association members, and the public participating in the event are encouraged to wear red shirts with yellow stars, representing the national flag.

Chairman Vo Tan Duc assigned the Provincial Police to lead and advise the People’s Committee in directing and implementing the plan. The police will coordinate with the Nhan Dan Newspaper’s Dong Nai-based representative office and related agencies to prepare all necessary conditions for the provincial event; they will also work with the Provincial Military Command to ensure security, traffic safety, and fire prevention at event venues.
The Provincial Police will direct commune and ward-level police units to report to Party Committees and local authorities for simultaneous implementation of activities; developing plans to combine the event with legal education and public awareness campaigns.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will direct the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center to arrange the venue, assign staff to coordinate and support the organizational work, and boost propaganda efforts.
Chairman Vo Tan Duc also called on related departments, branches and sectors and the People’s Committees of communes and wards to urgently carry out the plan according to local actual conditions. At the same time, people from all walks of life are mobilized to participate in the event.
