At the working session, Mai Phong Phu, Deputy Director in charge of the Provincial Land Fund Development Centre, stated that according to the 2025 land auction plan for the former Dong Nai province, there are a total of 37 land plots. To date, detailed planning schemes have been approved for 7 out of 11 plots listed for detailed planning.
The Provincial People's Committee has approved the investment policy for the Chua Chan Mountain Ecotourism, Resort, and Entertainment Project in Xuan Loc commune. In addition, the Provincial People's Committee is reviewing and submitting to the Provincial Standing Party Committee for consideration the investment policy approval for two plots in Binh An commune, including a 35-hectare planned residential area and a 77-hectare planned commercial-service and residential centre. Furthermore, the Department of Finance is appraising investment policy proposals for 2 out of 11 plots that require such approval.
Regarding auction plans, the Provincial Land Fund Development Centre has issued 23 out of 37 plans, 22 of which have been approved. Valuation agencies have issued 16 land valuation certificates as the basis to determine reserve prices; of these, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has approved reserve prices for five plots.
The Centre has also advised the Provincial People's Committee to adjust the 2025 land auction plan to reflect the situation following the provincial merger, adding highly feasible plots and removing those with low feasibility or unresolved legal obstacles.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Ha emphasised that in 2025, the province aims for budget revenues of VND 100 trillion, with approximately VND 21 trillion expected from land auctions. However, as of now, the progress of detailed planning and investment policy approvals for the plots remains slow, and no plot has yet been successfully auctioned.
The provincial leadership has requested departments, sectors, the Provincial Land Fund Development Centre, and localities to maintain a high sense of responsibility, closely monitor and expedite the process, and strengthen coordination to achieve results in land auctions. The "6-clear" principle should be upheld (including clear responsibility, clear tasks, clear timelines, clear results, clear accountability, and clear authority), alongside the application of a "green lane" mechanism to process procedures and documents related to land auctions within no more than 24 hours.
"In the time ahead, priority must be given to highly feasible plots with interested investors for auction. For each key plot, a critical path should be established to ensure the task is completed and the auction is conducted on schedule," Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Ha directed.
