From now until August 24, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee is getting opinions on the Regulations of land area used for constructing facilities which directly serve agricultural production in the province.

According to the draft regulations, the types of facilities that can be built on agricultural land are those serving agricultural production, including: rest houses, sheds, and camps for workers; facilities for preserving agricultural products, storing pesticides, fertilizers, machinery, tools, and other auxiliary facilities.
Facilities directly serving agricultural production can only be built with one floor, without basements. Facilities directly serving agricultural production can be built at multiple locations within the land plot, but the total area must not exceed the limit stipulated by the province. The land area for constructing the aforementioned facilities does not require a change in land use purpose and is still classified as agricultural land.
The Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee stipulates that the area of facilities that can be built depends on the land area. Specifically, for land plots with an area from 0.5ha to less than 5ha, the total land area for construction must not exceed 50m2.
As for land plots from 5ha to less than 10ha, the total land area allowed for construction must not exceed 100m2.
As for land plots with an area from 10ha to less than 20ha, the land area used for construction must not exceed 200m2.
As for land plots of 20ha or more, the maximum construction area ratio is 0.001% of the total agricultural production land area but not exceeding 500m2.
This regulation aims to strictly manage land use, ensuring that agricultural land is used for its right purpose. At the same time, it creates conditions for residents to build facilities serving agricultural production without having to change the purpose of land usage.
