On the morning of August 28, Dong Nai Social Insurance continued its fifth round of outreach in August 2025 to disseminate the amended 2024 Law on Social Insurance and Health Insurance, together with holding direct dialogue with businesses and business households across the province.

Participating units were briefed on policies and legal regulations related to Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance by officers from the Collection Management Department and Policy and Regime Department of Dong Nai Social Insurance, along with the Policy Department under the Dong Nai Department of Home Affairs. The briefing highlighted common violations committed by enterprises and outlined legal measures for handling such breaches, with particular emphasis on sanctions and potential criminal prosecution for evasion of Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance contributions, as well as fraud related to Social Insurance and Health Insurance. Employers were also urged to raise their compliance awareness and strictly adhere to regulations to avoid legal risks.

The unit also reminded certain businesses that are late in paying social insurance to review and check the number of employees not fully covered, requiring them to complete payments as soon as possible before any inspection or enforcement measures are applied.

At this propaganda session, most businesses focused on discussing the statute of limitations of labor contracts related to mandatory insurance provisions, sick leave, maternity leave, and agreements between employers and employees during unpaid leave.

Dong Nai Social Insurance is actively reviewing and accelerating the application of information technology and digital transformation in its operations to reduce time, costs, and human resources, while minimizing on-site interactions with businesses to avoid disrupting their production and business activities.
