Dong Nai employees hang the national flags and wear red shirts with yellow stars to celebrate National Day

In the lead-up to the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), Dong Nai workers and employees have been actively taking part in meaningful activities such as hanging the national flags, wearing red uniforms with yellow stars, and changing their profile pictures on social media platforms to the image of the national flag.

At Pou Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Vien commune, Dong Nai province), more than 3,000 workers of the company are recorded to all hang the national flags and wear red uniforms while working in the production workshops.

Nguyen Minh Tam, Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union at Pou Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that on the occasion of National Day (September 2), the grassroots Trade Union has stepped up propaganda to workers about the significance and profound meaning of this historic event of the nation.

Tam shared: “The Trade Union hopes that all Trade Union members and employees will understand the historical milestones that Vietnam has gone through and the great sacrifices of our forefathers so that we can enjoy peace today. Through these activities, the grassroots Trade Union recalls the nation’s traditions, reminding employees and the younger generations in the company to always remember the history of our country.”

According to Nguyen Minh Tam, the activity of encouraging the employees to hang the national flags at their workplaces carries a sacred meaning. It is an opportunity for the employees to express their national pride, nurture their love for the homeland, and at the same time, promote spirit, awareness and responsibility to their work.

As a result, this initiative helps boost productivity, contributing to the development of both the enterprise and the local economy. The grassroots Trade Union will continue to carry out activities to promote the historical events of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
