Regarding 2025 housing development targets, the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee has recently submitted a report to the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and registered with the Ministry of Construction the social housing targets for 2025 and for the following years through 2030. Accordingly, from now to 2030, the province aims to complete more than 64,000 units by 2030, including over 3,000 units scheduled in 2025.
Key resources for realizing these goals include more than VND 2.1 trillion (approx. USD 82 million) from the provincial housing development fund; over 1,000 hectares of land earmarked for social housing (including both public land and 20% of the land fund in commercial housing projects); and seven newly proposed land areas designated for housing public officials, civil servants, and armed forces personnel.

To address obstacles in ongoing projects, the Department of Construction requested that the Department of Agriculture and Environment resolve pending issues related to dossiers on environmental impact assessment. The People’s Committee of Phuoc Tan Ward was tasked with ensuring land clearance for the An Hung Phat Co., Ltd. project in Phuoc Tan. Relevant agencies were also urged to prioritise the supply of stone and ready-mixed concrete for social housing developments, beginning with the project by Chuong Duong JSC in Long Hung Ward.
At the working session, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Ha affirmed that the province is determined not to lower the social housing quotas set by the Prime Minister for both former Dong Nai and former Binh Phuoc provinces, along with the targets already registered with the Ministry of Construction for 2025–2030 period.
The provincial People’s Committee leadership instructed the Department of Construction to review and propose the addition of land sites (including sites planned for auction, or for the development of urban areas, commercial and service complexes combined with housing) in Dong Nai Province’s housing development program for the 2021–2025 period, serving as a basis for implementation and for attracting investors.
