Dong Nai Children's Hospital is a provincial-level grade-2 specialty hospital with 40 years of establishment and development. The hospital currently has 750 staff members, 10 functional departments, 20 clinical departments, and 4 paraclinical departments. Each year, it receives, examines, and treats an average of 400,000 pediatric patients, meeting the healthcare needs of children in the province and neighboring localities.

Speaking at the meeting, Director of the Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen requested that in the remaining months of the year, the hospital continue to enhance the quality of medical examination and treatment, accelerate the adoption of new and advanced techniques, place patients at the center of care, and use patient satisfaction as a benchmark for development.

In addition, she emphasized strengthening training, scientific research, and technology transfer to pediatric departments of medical facilities across the province, ensuring that children in remote and disadvantaged areas also have access to high-quality healthcare services.

She also urged the hospital to continue developing plans to attract, train, and retain medical staff, especially highly qualified professionals, to comprehensively leverage local human resources, to apply information technology, to implement electronic medical records, and to move toward the smart hospital model. Communication efforts should also be strengthened so that each staff member serves not only as a physician but also as an "ambassador" promoting the image of a friendly, dedicated, and professional hospital within the community.
