Chairman of the Tran Bien Ward People’s Committee, Nguyen Duy Tan, said: Lam Son Park and the memorial located there were built many years ago. However, public access has been limited, and the park’s potential to serve the community has not been fully utilized because it is located within the Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Zone and enclosed by a fence. With the province’s approval, the ward has coordinated with the enterprise to upgrade and renovate the park.
Also according to Chairman Nguyen Duy Tan of the Tran Bien Ward People’s Committee, the upgrade is being carried out with an open design that harmonizes with the landscape along the Dong Nai River while ensuring user safety. After renovation, the park will not only serve as a historical site but also meet recreational and sports needs, becoming a green space highlight of the ward.

According to Sonadezi Corporation, phase 1 will involve dismantling the fence in combination with landscaping, planting new trees, paving sidewalks with stone, and installing additional lighting systems, with a total estimated cost of about 1 billion VND.
The company will work closely with local authorities in maintaining, managing, and ensuring cleanliness and public security at the park after handing over the open space to the community. This is one of the activities that demonstrates the company’s social responsibility toward the locality.

Lam Son Park, covering an area of about 9,000 square meters, is a site that preserves the vestiges of the Bien Hoa Industrial Area (Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Zone) — the first industrial zone in the country. It is also home to a commemorative stele and the Lam Son Company Memorial, honoring the unit that took part in the resistance war against the French colonialists in the Bien Hoa – Dong Nai area.
