Consumer Price Index rises 0.2% in July

According to the statistics of Dong Nai Province, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in July, 2025 increased by 0.2% compared to the previous month.

Last month, rising prices of construction materials, housing maintenance, and essential goods and services driven by increased input costs and transportation fees, was the main contributor to the increasing CPI.

Among the 11 main groups of consumer goods and services, 9 recorded price increases, 1 experienced a decline, and 1 remained unchanged. Notably, some groups saw relatively rising price indexes such as household appliances, beverages and tobacco, culture, entertainment, tourism, housing and construction materials, food and dining services, and other goods and services.

Overall, in the first seven months of 2025, Dong Nai’s CPI rose averagely by 3.52% year-on-year.
