Connecting and supporting Southern enterprises through the application of science and technology

On August 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Program to connect and support small and medium enterprises in the Southern region took place with the theme “Application of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation to create breakthroughs in production management and product commercialization”.

The program was organized by the Center for Service Development and Exploitation of Science and Technology Infrastructure (under the Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology). The Dong Nai delegation, led by Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Vo Hoang Khai, participated in the event.

The program featured a wide range of activities, including an exhibition of scientific and technological application products in medicine, health, agriculture, environment, and information technology, as well as products developed from scientific and technological research results. It also included demonstrations of new technologies and technology transfer initiatives, a specialized seminar on “Solutions to Promote the Innovation Ecosystem - Models and Mechanisms to Foster Innovative Startups,” and a discussion analyzing the latest trends and digital technologies in management and production.

Experts and businesses also shared practical insights on applying technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, together with digital solutions for traceability, and promoting innovation, lessons learned in strengthening collaboration between businesses, universities, and research institutes.

Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology Vo Hoang Khai said the program serves as a forum for localities, including Dong Nai, to exchange experiences in applying science and technology, seek partners, and build cooperative networks to promote innovation and digital transformation. This undertaking helps form a strong support ecosystem that enables small and medium-sized enterprises in the Southern region in general and Dong Nai in particular, to make breakthroughs in production management and product commercialization.
