Connecting, cooperating, and using each other’s products, goods, and services is one of the solutions many businesses are currently pursuing. This approach not only helps increase the consumption of goods and products but also contributes to building an ecosystem that links manufacturing and service enterprises.

Dong Nai is a hotspot of rapid economic growth, offering ample opportunities for businesses to form and expand. As global economic fluctuations persist, and to avoid reliance on volatile markets, cooperation among businesses is proving highly effective.
Strengthening connections to support each other
Saigon Newport Corporation (Ho Chi Minh City) is one of Vietnam’s leading seaport enterprises. The Corporation currently operates two major port complexes in the South: Cat Lai Port and Tan Cang Cai Mep Port. In March 2025, Saigon Newport Corporation signed a cooperation agreement with Phuoc An Port, the largest port in Dong Nai, to receive part of the international service vessels from Cat Lai Port. In practice, Saigon Newport Corporation is making strong efforts to address infrastructure bottlenecks and find flexible operational solutions to adapt to rapidly growing cargo volumes. Meanwhile, Phuoc An Port, though the largest in the province, has only recently commenced operations and is still not widely known among shipping lines and cargo owners.
According to Dang Thanh Son, Deputy Marketing Director of Saigon Newport Corporation, this is a clear example of cooperation rather than competition among businesses in the same industry. Saigon Newport is ready to provide support, connect, share information, and partners, and hopes that companies in the same sector will adopt joint policies to assist manufacturing and import-export businesses in the region.
With more than 30 members, the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs’ Construction and Real Estate Association is also working to expand business connectivity. Its Chairman, Tran Quang Huan, stated: “Between 2025 and 2028, the association’s theme is ‘Connectivity – Synergy – Creating Sustainable Value’. Strategic cooperation among member enterprises will contribute to building a transparent, professional, and efficient sustainable development ecosystem for the province’s construction and real estate sector. In addition, businesses will expand links with companies in the same industry in other provinces and cities to undertake major projects.”
In the wood processing sector, cooperation among members is also highly valued.
Pham Van Sinh, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Wood and Handicrafts Association (Dowa), stated that the association is implementing a member platform project sponsored by international organisations. The project aims to enhance capacity in collecting and managing member data, promoting international trade, increasing the digital presence of member businesses, and supporting the development of Dong Nai’s wood industry and community.
Prioritising cross-use of products among enterprises
According to Nguyen Huu That, Director of Diep Nam Phuong Investment Joint Stock Company, Dong Nai has substantial potential and advantages for enterprise development. In this process, businesses in the province should strengthen their links and utilise each other's products and services to secure market outlets, while fostering cooperation and mutual growth. The company specialises in the import, export, and processing of stainless-steel products for industrial production, construction, healthcare, and food industries. At present, the company’s products are sold extensively to enterprises within the province.

“The province’s manufacturing and processing industries, as well as supporting industrial products, are developing strongly. If businesses can prioritise using each other’s goods and services, it will be highly beneficial. We hope local partners can provide services our company requires and, in return, use Diep Nam Phuong products in their production processes,” That said.
Tran Thanh Tuan, Director of Kim Tuan Thinh Co., Ltd. (Tan Trieu Ward), also believes that for small and medium-sized businesses, mutual support and the use of each other’s products is a trend that should be encouraged. Given their limited resources, these businesses need to find like-minded partners in related fields and gradually build an “ecosystem” to support one another in difficult times.
Beyond joint efforts, the business community hopes to receive support from the State and partner organisations to participate more deeply in the goods and services production chain. This endeavour will help promote cooperation among enterprises, encourage the production of high-quality goods with attractive designs and competitive prices.
For the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, its members are present across communes throughout the province. According to its Chairman, Dang Quoc Nghi, to promote the cross-use of each other’s products, goods, and services among businesses, the association is stepping up efforts to strengthen connections and cooperation both within the young entrepreneurs’ community and with external organisations and enterprises. In addition to fostering links among members, the association will also work to connect with organisations inside and outside the province, serving as a “bridge” between the State and the business community, with the aim of promoting sustainable business development and contributing to the province’s overall growth.
