Binh Minh commune strives to meet urban standards by 2030

On the afternoon of August 13, the first Congress of the Binh Minh Commune Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term officially convened. Le Truong Son, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Board and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, attended and delivered directions to the congress.

Attending the congress were Comrade Bui Xuan Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the specialized delegation of the Dong Nai Province National Assembly Deputies, together with 151 delegates representing the 855 Party members of the entire commune Party Committee.

Binh Minh Commune was established through the merger of the two former communes of Bac Son and Binh Minh, previously part of the former Trang Bom District. During the 2020–2025 term, the Commune Party Committee has upheld the spirit of solidarity, effectively carried out the tasks set forth in its resolution, and achieved many important results. The economy has maintained stable growth; infrastructure has received focused investment; and the rural landscape has seen marked improvement. Culture, society, education, healthcare, and social security have continued to receive attention, while national defense and security have been firmly maintained. These achievements form an important foundation for the locality to continue developing in a stable manner in the coming period.

In the 2025-2030 term, the congress set 18 primary targets, 5 key tasks, and 3 breakthrough areas (including breakthroughs in urban infrastructure development, administrative reform and digital transformation, and improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees).

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Action - Development", the Party Committee and people of Binh Minh commune strive to complete the goal of building a commune that meets urban standards by the end of the term.

Speaking at the congress, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son acknowledged, commended, and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Commune Party Committee in the past term. At the same time, he emphasized: After the merger of the province, Dong Nai has a scale, area, and development potential among the top in the country, including a double-digit growth target. Therefore, the Party Committee and people of the commune must continue to unite and make efforts with the 94 communes and wards of the province to complete the assigned tasks successfully.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Truong Son suggested that after the congress, the locality should thoroughly review all projects and programs in the area; propose to the Provincial People’s Committee those of an inter-regional nature; promptly propose and arrange for the establishment of the Commune Public Administration Service Center; and incorporate into its plans the expansion of rural roads and the acceleration of digital transformation.

In his closing speech at the congress, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Minh Commune, Nguyen Kim Phuoc, said: The success of the congress is an excellent source of encouragement and motivation, creating a combined strength, a spirit of solidarity and unity in the entire Party Committee, while arousing the confidence, excitement and expectations of the people. This endeavor is a solid foundation for the whole Party Committee and people of Binh Minh commune to successfully implement the goals and tasks in the 2025-2030 term, as Dong Nai and the entire country enter a new era of national growth.
