An Loc Ward was established on the basis of arranging and merging the existing natural area and population from Phu Thinh Ward, Thanh Phu Commune, and Thanh Luong Commune of the former Binh Long Town. In the 2020–2025 tenure, with unity and consensus in leadership and direction from Party Committees at all levels, and agreement from the entire political system and society, the ward achieved important results, with most targets meeting or exceeding those set by the Resolution of the Ward Party Congress. The living standards of ethnic minority and religious communities were stable and improved; while political security, social order, and safety were ensured.

The An Loc Ward Party Committee has inherited and promoted the achievements and experiences gained in the past tenure to develop an action program for the new tenure under the motto: “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Creativity – Development”. It has also set 18 key targets, 8 focal tasks, and identified its breakthrough area: focusing on urban planning and mobilizing resources to develop synchronized infrastructure, thereby creating a driving force for the ward’s socio-economic development. The goals include: effectively mobilizing resources for socio-economic development; building synchronized technical infrastructure; improving urban quality; developing trade, services, and agriculture; enhancing the quality of education, healthcare, culture, and social security policies; and striving for An Loc Ward to become prosperous and civilized by 2030, in a bid to join Dong Nai Province and the rest of the nation to step into the era of national rise.

Comrade Vo Tan Duc requested that in the new tenure, An Loc Ward should make the most of all resources to invest in transportation, industrial, and trade–service infrastructure; focus on developing high-tech agriculture and the circular economy, identifying them as the key sector to restructure the economic composition, create livelihoods and jobs for workers, and increase local budget revenue. In doing so, the ward can turn difficulties into momentum, challenges into aspirations for advancement, and build An Loc Ward into a more prosperous, compassionate, and civilized community.
