On the afternoon of August 27, a working delegation of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, led by Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the People’s Council of the Dong Nai province, held a working session with the Standing Committee of the Binh Phuoc Ward Party Committee to review the results of Party building efforts, as well as local socio-economic, defense, and security situation.

According to the report, after a nearly two-month operation under the two-tier local government model, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the direction of the Provincial People’s Committee, the Binh Phuoc Ward Party Committee has demonstrated initiative, solidarity, and unity, providing focused leadership and achieving notable and relatively comprehensive results across most areas.

In the first eight months of the year, Binh Phuoc ward has recorded total budget revenues of nearly 715 billion VND, equivalent to 102 percent of the estimate assigned by the province and 90 percent of the target set by the ward People’s Council. Total budget expenditures has reached nearly 396 billion VND, fulfilling 56 percent of the provincial estimate and 52 percent of the estimate of the Ward People's Council.

The ward has focused on addressing difficulties and obstacles, accelerating site clearance for key local projects, and forecasting resettlement needs through 2030 for projects requiring land acquisition in the ward.

Many positive results have been achieved in the cultural and social fields. National defense, security, and social order and safety have been maintained. Party building has received special attention, with the ward successfully organizing its 1st Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure.

At the working session, representatives of Binh Phuoc ward leaders also raised several difficulties, challenges, and proposals related to: policies and regulations under Government Decree No. 178/2024/NĐ-CP; the upgrading and synchronization of data for the ward’s Intelligent Operations Center (IOC); the decentralization of urban tree management; the use of surplus office buildings in the area; and the establishment of a Project Management and Site Clearance Board under the ward People’s Committee...

In her concluding remarks at the working session, Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Council, acknowledged and highly valued the achievements of Binh Phuoc ward in recent times, particularly in terms of Party building, socio-economic development, and maintenance of national defense, security, and social order and safety.

She urged the Standing Committee of the Binh Phuoc Ward Party Committee to continue promoting unity, proactiveness, and creativity, while decisively addressing existing challenges and effectively implementing key tasks. Among the priorities, she emphasized cadre work, administrative reform, disbursement of public investment capital, and ensuring the timely implementation of key projects.

She also requested the Provincial People’s Committee and relevant departments and sectors to carefully review and consider Binh Phuoc ward’s proposals, creating favorable conditions for the ward to develop in line with its potential, advantages, and position, thereby contributing to the successful fulfillment of the province’s overall objectives.

Prior to the working session, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh visited the Public Administration Service Center of Binh Phuoc ward to learn about its operations and encourage the officials and civil servants working at the Center.
