On August 20, a delegation from the Military Region 7 Command, led by Major General Le Xuan The, Commander of Military Region 7, inspected and evaluated severely degraded facilities at Division 309 that have exceeded their service life.

After hearing reports and conducting an on-site inspection, Major General Le Xuan The instructed Division 309 to work closely with relevant agencies of the Military Region and the Design Institute under the Ministry of National Defense to continue surveying and developing detailed plans for barracks, functional areas, training grounds, and drill fields, in accordance with regulations and aligned with the unit’s actual conditions. He emphasized that the planning process should also explore areas suitable for the integration and use of green energy, such as solar power, to stay aligned with current trends and make effective use of renewable energy sources.

* Launching the Movement for All People to Safeguard National Security in the postal system

On the morning of August 20, the Dong Nai Provincial Police, in coordination with the Dong Nai Provincial Post Office, held a ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the All-People’s Day for Protecting National Security and to launch the 2025 movement for all people to protect national security. The event also marked the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Public Security force, the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the postal sector, and the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

To enhance the effectiveness of the movement, the Board of Directors of the provincial Post Office has outlined several key tasks. These include intensifying communication efforts so that every cadre, Party member, and employee thoroughly understands the content and significance of the movement, turning it into a true festival that highlights the strength of the people; working closely with security forces to prevent and combat crime; while also recognizing and rewarding exemplary individuals and good deeds, and criticizing and deterring violations of the law within the postal sector.

* Phu Vinh Commune Party Committee implements decision on personnel work

On August 19, the Party Committee of Phu Vinh Commune held a meeting of the Commune Party Executive Committee to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee regarding personnel work.

At the conference, a representative of the commune’s Party Building Committee announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee to appoint four comrades to the Executive Committee of the Phu Vinh Commune Party Committee, Term I, for the 2025–2030 tenure: Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Commander of the Commune Military Command; Ho Thi Hanh, Deputy Commander of the Commune Military Command; Bui Minh Vuong, Chief of the Commune Police; and Le Hoang Linh, Deputy Chief of the Commune Police.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee appointed two comrades to the Standing Committee of the Phu Vinh Commune Party Committee, Term I, for the 2025–2030 tenure: Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Commander of the Commune Military Command, and Bui Minh Vuong, Chief of the Commune Police.

* Dau Giay commune visits and presents gifts to policy beneficiary families and people with meritorious service

On the afternoon of August 20, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dau Giay commune organized three delegations to visit and present gifts to 10 policy beneficiary families and people with meritorious service in the commune.

During the visits, local leaders warmly inquired about the health and overall well-being, both material and spiritual, of policy beneficiary families and individuals with meritorious service, while expressing deep gratitude for their significant sacrifices and contributions to the cause of national construction and defense. They also encouraged these families to uphold revolutionary and local traditions, and to continue inspiring their children and grandchildren to participate in patriotic emulation movements and community activities actively.
