(DN)- On July 28, Tran Bien ward People's Committee announced that the authorities had approved the overall adjustment of the 1/500-scale detailed urban planning for Bien Hung park, located in the former Trung Dung ward, now Tran Bien ward.

According to the newly approved plan, Bien Hung park will be expanded to nearly 9 hectares, more than double its current size of approximately 4 hectares. The park’s spatial and architectural layout will be redesigned to highlight green landscape and water surface, creating a modern cultural landmark and enhancing the urban identity of the area. The park will feature fully developed and synchronized technical infrastructure.

The master plan envisions Bien Hung park as a central green space that provides a scenic environment for the urban center while meeting the recreational, entertainment, and fitness needs of local residents. Key functional areas within the park will include a central square, a cultural-historical monument zone, an open-air stage, sports and fitness areas, recreation zones for youth and teenagers, tranquil resting spaces, a parking area with integrated commercial services, walkways, green spaces, and a central lake.

Bien Hung park is currently located at the intersection of 30-4 and Hung Dao Vuong Streets. It already houses a number of developed facilities, including Bien Hung lake at its center, along with landscaped green areas and recreational spaces.
