Over VND35 trillion mobilized for new rural development

(ĐN)- Long Thanh district has mobilized over VND35 trillion to implement the National target program on new rural development.

From 2010 to 2015, more than VND 9.2 trillion was invested, with focus on four pilot communes, An Phuoc, Long An, Long Duc, and Long Phuoc, to develop high-tech agricultural zones and shift labor from agriculture to industry and services.

Between 2016 and 2020, over VND 1.8 trillion was mobilized to improve infrastructure and living standards across all communes. By the end of 2020, all communes had achieved new rural standards, with three reaching advanced status.

From 2021 to 2025, social resources of over VND 24.7 trillion were mobilized, enabling all 13 communes to be officially recognized as advanced new rural communes by the provincial government.
