Nearly VND474b invested in rural clean water infrastructure

(DN)- According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dong Nai is planning to invest in the construction, renovation, and expansion of eight centralized water supply projects with a total design capacity of 38,450 cubic meters per day. The total investment for these projects is nearly 474 billion VND.

The province is accelerating the implementation of these projects and preparing investment proposals to upgrade and expand rural water supply infrastructure. By the end of 2025, Đồng Nai aims to have 85% of rural households using clean water that meets national standards, with 55% receiving water from centralized supply systems.

In 2024 alone, local authorities and related units invested nearly 409 billion VND in constructing and extending 466 km of water pipelines, connecting rural areas to urban water supply networks.
