(ĐN)- Dong Nai is now home to 37 industrial zones (IZs), with 31 in operation and an occupancy rate of nearly 90%. The growth of these IZs has led to a high demand for supporting services such as housing, transportation, training, and logistics. Many businesses have been investing in these sectors to meet market needs.

Diversifying service sectors
At Long Thành High-Tech IZ, Viettel Đồng Nai has partnered with Amata to implement 5G stations, enhancing telecommunications infrastructure. In logistics, companies are expanding warehouse, transportation, and import-export services to support supply chains.
Worker housing remains a critical issue. Some businesses have launched affordable housing projects, such as Thống Nhất Corporation's apartment complex at Bàu Xéo IZ, offering units priced between $6,000 and $16,000. However, many workers have yet to access information about these projects.
Businesses seek support
Enterprises seek government assistance in promoting housing projects and connecting workers with available housing solutions. In education, AMG International Education JSC is expanding foreign language training at IZs in Biên Hòa, Long Thành, and Nhơn Trạch to enhance workforce quality.
Additionally, attracting secondary investors to IZs faces legal challenges. At Hố Nai IZ, Hố Nai IZ Corporation has proposed building a gas station but encountered difficulties in defining suitable land according to regulations. The company has submitted a request to authorities for clarification and support.
The development of comprehensive support services will enhance the efficiency of IZ operations, benefiting both businesses and workers.
