Retail sales of consumer goods, services up 4.4% in Q3

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s total retail sales of consumer goods and services in the third quarter of this year were estimated at more than VND47.9 trillion, a year-on-year rise of 4.4%, the provincial Statistics Bureau reported.

In September alone, retail sales of consumer goods and service revenue totaled over VND16.3 trillion.

The sectors recording a positive revenue increase include textile and garment, home appliances, food and foodstuff, cultural and educational products and transport services, petrol and all oil products.

In this quarter, many supermarkets, shopping centers, businesses and retail chains have organised a wide range of activities to stimulate consumption, especially during the National Day holiday on September 2nd.
