(ĐN)- Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve and Vinh Cuu district’s Youth Union have jointly held a meeting and a drawing contest commemorating the International Day for Biological Diversity (May 22).
The event themed “Joining efforts to protect wild animals” attracted more than 250 students who were provided knowledge on protecting wild animals, nature and environment of the forest.
Four winning drawings of the contest will be printed on notebooks to present to students in Vinh Cuu and Dinh Quan districts in the 2015-2016 academic year.
Launched by the United Nations in 2000, the International Day for Biological Diversity aims to increase community awareness of the issues related to global biodiversity and wildlife conservation.
