The participants received academic and career advising from experts during the event.

The event is held every year by the Ministry of Education and Training in co-operation with the Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper. For the ninth time in a row, the Student Enrollment Day event have been held across the country.
This year, it will be organised in 16 provinces and localities across the country, from Ha Noi in the north to the southernmost province of Ca Mau, including some in the Central Highlands and several island districts.
